The first movie ever! This was made for travel class, (2007) My old man and I make perogies together. Please leave a comment or something because my dad loves it when I tell him where in the world, someone has watched his video!
Finally after a 9 year wait, I was able to get back to Oktoberfest in Munich Germany for the 200th Anniversary of the event. When I went in 2001 with 5 friends, my old crappy VHS camcorder 2 piece had long been retired and modern digital equipment and software was still quite expensive and Youtube was still 4 years into the future. Well the time was right to cash in some airline miles and head back to the crazy craic that I only had captured with a film camera. Probably the best spot to see the real debauchery would be the Hofbräu Feltzelt (festival tent). The place is filled with beer guzzling mostly English speaking craic heads from England, Australia, USA, New Zealand. This tent is by far the rowdiest. This is a 3 minute video that captures 2 liters and 2 hours of life in Hofbräu Feltzelt. I would highly reccommend to everyone to put at least 2 days of Oktobfest in Munich on your bucket list. It takes 2 months to build, and 3 months to take down the event which lasts only 2 weeks.

Cliff ‘Em All is a compilation of video footage released as a tribute to Metallica’s late bassist Cliff Burton. Its title is derived from Metallica’s first album, Kill ‘Em All. Burton was killed in a tour bus accident on September 27, 1986, at the age of 24, near Ljungby, Sweden during the European leg of their Damage Inc. tour. The homevideo contains also a performance with Dave Mustaine on March 19, 1983, shortly before his release for heavy drugs and alcohol abuse. The video is a retrospective on the 3 and a half years that Cliff Burton was in Metallica, presented as a collection of bootleg footage shot by fans, some professional filming and TV shots that were never used and some of his best bass solos, personal photos and live concerts. Photos and narrations by the band (Ulrich, Hetfield and Hammett drinking beer) are placed between songs which focus on Burton before fading into a title card of a performance. The video ends with the melodic interlude of “Orion” as pictures of Burton are shown. With this video, the band tries to show the unique personality and style he had. While ostensibly the film focuses on Burton, it also has given fans a rare glimpse of Metallica’s less-documented early career. This contrasts sharply with the ‘Metallica business’ represented in the feature film Some Kind of Monster. Detroit, April 4, 1986 – “supporting Ozzy” Shot from the left of the stage.
