Using the amazing ‘Rockhopper’ mobile recording studio, artists from Essex jumped in and recorded the following videos. You can now vote on your favourite artist! It was an elaborate traditional ceremony which took place on the grounds in front of Himeji Castle 姫路城. It was a sunny day (the festival was postponed the day before due to rain). You can see some amazing mikoshi (what you see the groups of men carrying) and incredible Taiko drumming. I’ll be making another vid soley dedicated to the Taiko drumming footage I took. I love all things percussion so I think it deserves it’s own vid!! Stay tuned in the next few days for that. You can also check out some old footage I took last year of the castle itself.
